Also located in Little Cottonwood Canyon, Snowbird is one mile down canyon from Snowpine Lodge and Alta Ski Area.

While it may be best known for skiing and snowboarding in the winter, Snowbird offers a full roster of activities in the summer, including the U.S.’s first open-air Tram ride to Hidden Peak for breathtaking 360° views. Check out the all-day activity pass for a way to have access for a full day of summer fun.

There are also a number of hiking trails near Snowbird including the Peruvian Gulch Trail to Mount Baldy and Observation Point. Both Hidden Peak to Mt. Baldy and American Fork Twin Peaks Trail are accessible by the Snowbird tram, a scenic way to see Utah.

Summer Scenic Tram Rides –Experience the U.S.’s first open-air tram, ascending 2,900 feet to Hidden Peak for stunning 360° views and refreshments at The Summit. Not sure about riding on the rooftop deck? No problem! You can purchase a standard ticket and still enjoy the ride up to 10,992 feet from the comfort of the tram’s enclosed cabin.
Mountain Coaster – Race down 3,120 feet of twists and turns on Snowbird’s Mountain Coaster, controlling the speed for an adrenaline-pumping ride.
Alpine Slide – Enjoy twists, turns and tunnels as the Alpine Slide winds down the mountain.
Peruvian Chairlift –The Peruvian Chairlift offers a scenic 16-minute ride over 2,400 vertical feet, with views, wildlife and access to Mineral Basin’s wildflowers and trails via the Peruvian Tunnel.
Summer Tubing – Have fun on this warm weather version of snow tubing – with a conveyor to bring you back up to the top.
